Gipps Corner is a prime corner property in bustling Collingwood, one of Melbourne's hottest areas for development and tenants. We took the production team to this sought-after location on behalf of JLL for an action-packed shoot. The result: A property sales video worthy of the television screen - gathering over five thousand views on LinkedIn and sparking interest on the listing by 230%.

Challenge

Making a “day-in-the-life” video for a busy office worker in Collingwood is a bit tricky. We’ve got to show the buzz of the suburb and the office routine. We found the right mix of work and fun by tracking our talent through her day and utilising “text” animations to bring her journey to life.

Strategy

Our goal was to grow brand awareness by shining a spotlight on the hip lifestyle of Collingwood. The Strategy was to create “a-day-in-the-life” of an office worker to bring the area to life and listing to life.

Results

The client was extremely surprised by the results this new style of video brought, with 3.5% click-through rate on LinkedIn, and 80% increase in traffic to the listing page.
Rooftop’s TVC-style brand film for 58 Gipps helped connect the agents with investors and operators resulting in the extremely swift sale of this long sought after location. By collaborating with the team at JLL, we rethought what was possible for a property brand film, in doing so creating an outlier offering that garnered a wide range of interest from developers across the country.
